In the evening the toss was done and Upminster lost meaning Brentwood chose to bat. Upminster only had 7 players but were lent a player by Brentwood for the first few overs, until our other 2 players arrived. Johnny and Harry opened the bowling and both got a wicket each. Then it was Anotidaishe and Angad to bowl and they both kept Brentwood from posting too many runs. The bowling then was great from the rest of the team and Upminster kept Brentwood’s run rate low. Although Upminster bowled well Brentwood still managed to rack up 112 from their 20 overs.
Then it was Upminster's turn to bat. Johnny and Harrison opened but a bit of confusion between the 2 meant Johnny couldn’t get to the crease in time and Upminster's first wicket was lost. Then Harry came in and him and Harrison were keeping the scoreboard ticking over. After around 11 overs Harrison retired after a well earned performance. Then Max came in and he helped keep the runs coming. Harry was then dismissed and it was time for Kayhan to bat. He and Max racked up many runs but both were eventually dismissed. From then on the Upminster runs kept coming with Billy and Anotidaishe coming in and scoring some quick runs meaning Upminster ended up with 113 from just over 18 overs and Upminster had picked up a win in the u12s division.
