Upminster was batting first which meant Aadit and Ano opened. Ano faced some hard balls making some great shots but unfortunately got out after a couple of overs only scoring a few runs. As Aadit faced his first ball he scored a massive six sending the ball into the trees sadly after he gets out. Oscar Soussana comes in scoring some amazing 4s but unfortunately he also gets bowled out. Will Peck comes in at 4 facing some good balls but still not good enough for him as he makes some amazing shots leading him to retire on 40. As Oscar Hayes walks into bat he faced some brilliant balls but managed to stay in for a bit and score some runs until he gets out leaving Harrison Simpson batting with Jack Butler they both faced some good balls hitting amazing 4s but again sadly gets bowled. Henry Madsen batting very well scoring some runs but then the innings is over meaning Upminster will be getting ready to field.

Ano opens the bowling strong, bowling some absolute beamers and making the Galleywood batters scared. He finishes great then Jack Butler bowls making the batters even more scared as he almost took their heads off a few times. A couple overs go pass then Ano gets our first wicket which got Upminster on their toes ready for the next wicket to come. Upminster get a few more wickets then Oscar Soussana goes into bowl. He bowls some great balls but weren’t enough to get the Galleywood batters out. Then Woody bowls some great balls leaving the batsman stuck in his crease. Another few overs pass and it’s time for Cameron to bowl despite only starting cricket this season he put up a good fight against Galleywood with them only scoring a few runs on him. Oscar Hayes bowls great but unfortunately Will Peck's wicketkeeping wasn’t as solid as his batting with gloves like a slice of Swiss cheese meaning they got more runs than they should have done. Him and George Ashlin should of got a few run outs but both dropped the ball a number of times, with Upminster’s fielding needed a lot to be desired all round. The boys rallied and with great inspiration from coach Ollie Peck they called for a special appearance from Duffy the Cat to help out in the field. The last over came and Aadit was bowling, they needed 11 off 6 but Aadit bowled incredible getting 2 wickets in the same over. Which meant Upminster won the match.
