Things couldn’t be tighter after two rounds of matches in the Windmill Whack Women’s Edition, with all four sides having won one and lost one game so far.

Night One saw Howden Heat squeeze past Burley Bandits while Root 66’ers picked up a convincing win over the Mullis & Peake Magic. It was all change on Night Two with the Bandits seeing off the Root 66’ers and the Magic winning a closely fought contest against the Heat.

This Friday sees the third round of games take place at Upminster Park, with the Magic taking on the Bandits and the Heat facing the 66’ers (both games beginning at 7.00pm). All four teams will be eager to pick up a win as the group stage of the competition reaches its halfway stage. After all six rounds of games the top two sides will move forward to the Grand Final on 6th September.

The bar will be open throughout both games on Friday while the final games in Group I of the FIFA World Cup will be shown on the screens in the Pavilion.
