Upminster CC is pleased to announce that once again we will be hosting a County XI at Upminster Park in 2016, when we welcome an Essex CCC XI to Upminster Park on Sunday 4th September.

This Year's game will be in aid of the Essex Cricket Foundation (http://www.essexcricketfoundation.co.uk/) who work across Essex and East London to help develop young cricketers from all backgrounds.

Everyone at Upminster CC is honoured to once again be given an opportunity to host a game of this nature. We have held 17 such matches since 1997 and have seen some of the finest players in England grace the hallowed Upminster Park turf during that period, including Graham Gooch, Ronnie Irani, Nasser Hussain, James Foster, Ravi Bopara, Graham Gooch and Alastair Cook.

We are very grateful to Dan Porter, Arfan Akram and Pip George from the Essex Cricket Foundation who have helped to arrange this event.
