The 1st XI travel to Billericay on Sunday (19th) for their first appearance at the Essex League T20 Finals Day since 2018. It will be the sixth time the club have made Finals Day (they also reached the final in 2012 when there was no Finals Day) but only once before have they made it through their morning semi final, in 2017 when they overcame Hornchurch before losing in the afternoon to Wanstead & Snaresbrook.
As always, Finals Day will take place at Billericay CC which can be found at Blunts Wall Road, Billericay, CM12 9SA. The schedule for the day is as follows:
11.00am - Pitch 1 - Brentwood v Billericay;
11.00am - Pitch 2 - Loughton v Upminster;
2.30pm - Pitch 1 - Semi Final Winners;
Car parking for all players, coaches and supporters will be in the lower car park at the ground. This can be found by going past the signposted entrance to the ground and then turning right after about 200 yards.
Bacon rolls (£3) will be available from the upstairs bar from 10.00am while pizza pockets (£3) will be available from 12.00pm. The upstairs bar at the ground will be open throughout the day. Everyone attending is asked to note that any alcohol consumed on site that is not purchased from the club will be subject to a £5 corkage charge per drink.
Later in the week we will take a look back at the club's previous appearances at Finals Day, but the team will be confident that this year they can go one better than they have done before.
