Before Sunday's Nick Browne Testimonial Match it was announced that Michael Scrivener had become the ninth Life Vice President of Upminster Cricket Club.
Life Vice Presidency is the highest accolade the club can award to any individual and is given to those who have made an outstanding contribution to the club that benefits members for a significant period of time.
Alongside our Chair Ollie Peck, Michael has made a truly amazing contribution to the Pavilion Redevelopment, both in terms of planning over a number of years, and then the completion of the project in 2025. Michael and Ollie have driven the project from start to finish and put in a huge amount of time and energy to leave both the Cricket and Hockey Clubs with a truly outstanding facility that will benefit this and many future generations of cricketers and hockey players.
Everyone associated with Upminster Cricket Club would like to congratulate Michael on this thoroughly deserved honour and thank him for everything he has done to make the Pavilion Redevelopment Project such a success.
