After ten days of wet and miserable weather the rain looks like it will relent, and the sun will be out again for what is set to be another busy weekend for the club.

The weekend will begin with Friday night junior training taking place at Upminster Park once again, as well as Women’s Softball Training, and the bar will be open all evening with Wholeslice (at Roots) on site taking orders for their legendary pizzas. Wholeslice have kindly offered to assist with the disposal of pizza boxes from this week, so once you have finished your pizzas if you could please take your boxes back to the ordering table so they can be disposed of.

Saturday will see eight sides take to the field for senior matches with the 1st XI making the short trip along Hall Lane to face Harold Wood and the 2nd XI welcoming their Wood counterparts to Upminster Park. There are also derbies for the 3rd XI (away to Hornchurch), the 4th XI (home to Hutton 3s) and the 5th XI (home to Harold Wood).

The Women’s 1st XI are very much in the title race in EWPL Division 1, and they face a Sunday afternoon showdown with Wanstead & Snaresbrook at Upminster Park while the Women’s 2nd XI travel to Kelvedon and Feering in Division 2. There are also eight junior games taking place across the day with the highlight being the U12 Ultras taking on Billericay at Coopers in the Brian Taylor Trophy.
