Roots looking to start campaign with win, while Tigers hoping to make it two from two

The Root 66ers will square up to the Kushoom Bugh Tigers on Wednesday night, as WW III action returns to Upminster Park.

After last week's clash between the Choice and Firebirds was called off due to the adverse weather, the Roots will be looking to sneak ahead of both those sides in the early standings. They name a strong side for the encounter including Mike Rath, Nick O'Dell and in form seam bowler Mark D'Cruz, as well as lesser seen stars such as Ben Calder and Elliot Bussey.

The Tigers started the campaign with a convincing win against the Firebirds on opening day, and they can take a huge step towards Finals Day if they can follow up that victory. They are yet to name their eleven but will be without talisman Rob Mack, who picked up an injury in their last encounter.

The action gets underway at 6pm, and the bar will be open throughout the evening.
