Dan Lawrence will line up for Essex at Upminster Park this Sunday. The prolific middle order batsman was crucial part of the Essex side who claimed the County Championship last season and his performance earned him a call up to several England Lions squads. Dan is well known to many at Upminster having grown up and played at Chingford CC in the Essex League. We look forward to seeing him in action on Sunday.

Joining Dan is Essex Ladies T20 captain, Kelly Castle. All rounder Kelly made her debut for the County in 2012 and has this year taken on the role of T20 captain. This will be Kelly’s first appearance in the fixture and the first time that someone from the Essex Women’s squad has played in this game.

Australian Matt Dixon will also be coming to Upminster Park for the first time. Matt has bags of T20 experience, playing for the Perth Scorchers in Australia’s Big Bash, and he joined Essex at the start of the 2016 season.
