As many UCC members will know, Freddie Ison, son of 1st XI batsman Alan Ison and Hannah Gorbell, has been living with a liver disease since birth, and had a liver transplant when he was just eight months old.

Alan and Hannah have been very generous and open in sharing Freddie's story with many friends and club members, and subsequently there has been a great response shown by many members of the club to the family's situation.

With this in mind Alan and Hannah have teamed up with Win D'Cruz to raise funds for children going through the same journey. As part of this, Freddie's Fundraiser will take place on FRIDAY 9th FEBRUARY at UPMINSTER RUGBY CLUB.

The event will feature live music from The Old Street Rockers, who many club members will have seen before, and who always put on a great show. The evening has been sponsored by A Touch of Glass (based in Front Lane, Cranham) meaning every penny raised on the night will go directly to charity.

Tickets are £10 each and if you want to bring children you can bring them for free (or a small donation to the collection box). A licensed bar will be open throughout the evening.
