The 2019 SNEL fixtures have now been released. The first game for all of Upminster’s five league sides will be on Saturday 11th May, with all of our teams finishing the season on Saturday 7th September.
Ollie Peck’s 1st XI will travel to Monkham’s Lane on week 1 to face Woodford Wells and will then host Shenfield, under new captain Roy Smith, at Upminster Park on week 2. Their final game of the season will be a long trip to Colchester & East Essex. Other dates to note are a visit to Gallows Corner to face Gidea Park and Romford on the 10th August and a trip to Hutton on the 24th August.
The 2nd XI will also face Woodford Wells on week 1, and then make the short journey to Shenfield the following week. Their local derbies against Hornchurch will be on 15th June (at Upminster) and 17th August (at Harrow Lodge Park) before they finish the season with a home game against Chelmsford.
New captain Ollie White will have an easy journey on week 1 as his side travel to Harold Wood, before week 2 sees a repeat of last season’s championship decider as Woodford Wells come to Coopers. They will finish the season with a home game against Harlow. The 4th XI start the season with a home game against Frenford 3s (formerly Hainault and Clayhall) while they finish the campaign with a trip to Chelmer Park to take on Chelmsford 4s. Alex Bottoms’ 5th XI will travel to Loughton on week 1 and they will complete the campaign with a local derby against Gidea Park and Romford at Gallows Corner.
