U13s WIN AGAIN TO PROGRESS TO REGIONAL FINALS
1The U13s this morning comfortably beat a spirited and sporting Luton Town and Indians side to progress to the Regional Finals of the National Cup, in front of a large crowd at Upminster Park.
Upminster, playing at this stage of the competition for the first time in their history, bowled and fielded superbly to restrict their opponents to 86 in their 20 overs. In reply Frankie Hazle and Will Chuter got the reply off to an excellent start and after Hazle had retired Ollie Heazle and then Louis Pickering, batted well to see Upminster to victory with seven wickets and plenty of time in hand.
Craig Chuter's side now progress to the Regional Finals of the competition on Tuesday 26th July (more details to follow).
Congratulations to Craig and his side on their excellent achievement.

U13s FACE LUTON TOWN & INDIANS IN NATIONAL CUP - THIS SUNDAY!!!
1Having beaten Wanstead last week, to claim the David Bradford Cup and progress to the regional stages of the National Cup, Upminster's U13s entertain Luton Town and Indians CC THIS SUNDAY MORNING.
Luton won the Bedfordshire section of the competition to progress to this stage and will provide tough opposition, but with home advantage there is every chance for Upminster to progress.
The 20 over game will start at 9.30am, and all UCC members, vice-presidents, colts, colts parents and supporters are encouraged to come along and support the side in this important match.
Following this game the U16s will face Harlow Town in their final Matchplay group game.
DOTT TAKES FOUR IN FOUR FOR COLTS
1Taking a hat-trick in cricket is a rare and impressive feat, but youngster George Dott went one better than that on Sunday, when he took 4 wickets in 4 balls!!! Dott's heroics helped the U13s B side to a 21 run victory over local rivals Harold Wood.
Amazingly this is the second time in two seasons that a member of this squad has achieved this, as last year George Sadek also took 4 wickets in 4 balls in a victory over Gidea Park!!
HEAZLE SCORES CENTURY FOR ESSEX
1Upminster's Ollie Heazle scored his first ever century yesterday, as his Essex U12s side beat Hampshire.
Heazle, who also captained the side, scored 111 from just 104 balls. Everyone at UCC would like to congratulate Ollie on his excellent performance.
