Two WW contests sandwich the World Cup action this Sunday

Sunday looks set to be a busy day at UCC as two WW III matches take place either side of England's World Cup clash with Panama.

The day gets underway at 10.30am when the Govani Maestros square up to the Apple Finance Firebirds. The Maestros are the last franchise to make their bow in the 2018 event and will be looking to get off to a winning start. The Firebirds have won one and lost one of their two games to date, and will be looking to follow up last week's win over the Hunter Hurricanes with another victory here.

At 1pm the attention will switch to the World Cup. Gareth Southgate's men kicked off their campaign with a 2-1 win over Tunisia on Monday evening and will be looking to follow this up with another three points against the Central Americans.

And at 3pm the cricket action returns as the Hunter Hurricanes face the Kushoom Bugh Tigers in a crucial WW contest. Both teams have won one and lost one so far, and so the winner of this will be on the brink of Finals Day while the loser will be on the verge of an early exit.

World Cup drinks deals will be available throughout the day. Bottles of Bud will be £2.50 (throughout the World Cup), Bulmers is available at £2.50 a bottle with G and Ts going at £2 a go/£3 a double (offer lasts as long as England are in the competition), and during Sunday's game it will be any 8 bottles of lager/Bulmers for £20.00.
