Upminster CC is pleased to confirm that once again they will welcome an Essex CCC XI to Upminster Park for a Benefit Match in aid of the Essex Cricket Foundation. The 2017 County Champions will come to town for a T20 game on Sunday 8th September.

The main event of the day will begin at 3.00pm but there will be lots to keep everyone busy from 11.00am, including a Ladies Softball Festival and several junior events.

This will be the 21st match between the two sides since the series of games first started taking place in 1997. Upminster won an exciting contest last year thanks to an unbeaten half century from youngster Tom Daniels.

Everyone at the Club is delighted that we will once again be able to host such an occasion, and we would like to thank Nick Browne of Essex CCC and the Essex Cricket Foundation, and Dan Feist of Essex CCC and Essex Cricket in the Community for their assistance in arranging this event.
