Tandoori Boys claim 3rd win

All round team performance sees side up to 2nd

The Tandoori Boys picked up their third win of the season on Sunday with a 14 run win over Broomhill. Captain Billy Wright won the toss and elected to bat first. An all round batting performance saw the Tandoori Boys score 105 from their 12 overs with Wright (19), Sam Twine (28), John French (15) and Nathan Bright (15*) all contributing whilst Trevor Money claimed 3/33 for Broomill

Despite early wickets for Bright and Ian Munn Broomhill were well set at 61/2 before the run rate increased with Wright taking 2/15 from 3 overs. Neil Collins top scored with 36 before Twine wrapped up victory in the final over. (Scorecard)

The win moves the Tandoori Boys to 2nd and are in action again next Sunday when they take on the Chelmsford Tigers at Ingatestone from 8pm
