1st, 2nd and 3rd XI all win rain effected games

Not for the first time this season, Frankie Hazle and Terry Wyatt came to the rescue for Upminster 1st XI after an early collapse. With no other batsman in the top eight reaching double figures, Upminster were in strife but thanks to a superb run a ball 79 from Frankie and 57 from Terry, Upminster were able to post 225 in 49.1 overs. Matthew Tigg also chipped in towards the end with a vital 39.

Connor Whetstone once again shone with the ball taking 3-38 as Upminster won by 9 runs. Max Carter-Miller bowled very well on his 1st XI debut with Shafiq Rahman providing the control, only conceding 16 runs in his 8 overs.

The frustrating season for the 2nd XI batsman continued with five batsman scoring between 22 and 28 in Upminster's total of 189. A long rain break meant Chingford were set 155 to win off 30 overs. Oliver Peck was the leading bowler for Upminster as he took 3 vital wickets in a tight 6 over spell. Tom Billinghurst provided the games winning moment with a bullet arm from the boundary to run out the Chingford No.11 to give Upminster their first win since week one.

Jack O'Dowd made a patience half century with Bobby Mack also scoring 40 as Upminster 3rd XI knocked up 190 in their 45 overs. O'Dowd also starred with the ball as himself and Oliver White both took 3 wickets to condemn Shenfield to a 45-run defeat. The 3rd XI have now recorded five wins out of six which leaves Mark D'Cruz's team sitting nicely in second.

The 4th XI sadly fell to a 5 wicket defeat at Nutter Lane against Wanstead. Rob Waghorn made 39 and was assisted by Ant Limn who scored 34 in the 4th XI total of 171. Upminster manage to take 5 wickets in reply with Tom Daniels and Karim Govani taking a brace each.

The wet weather resulted in the 5th and 6th XI being called off.

Dave Brown scored his maiden 50 for the 7th XI in their friendly away to Bengeo CC.
