7th win in a row for the 1st the highlight of a disappointing Saturday.

Upminster winning run continued on Saturday after defeating Orsett by 76 runs over Upminster Park. Shahbaz Butt top scored with 61 in Upminsterā€™s total of 279. His opening partner Shafiq Rahman made 50 with Louis Pickering also chipping in with 44. Connor Whetstone was the pick of the Upminster attack, the leg-spinner finished with figures of 3-25. The rest of the spinners also assisted with Rahman, Peck and Tigg all picking up a brace. (Scorecard)

It was a tough day all round for Upminster 2nd XI at Overton Drive this Saturday as Wanstead piled up 293 from their 45 overs. Max Carter-Miller shone with the ball and finished with very impressive figures of 4-23. Upminster got off to a lightning start with Billinghurst (40) and Evans smashing it to all parts, including the golf course. Sadly, Evans was run out for a fantastic 98 which included five maximums as the rest of the Upminster batting order failed to get going and was eventually bowled out for 212. (Scorecard)

The 3rd XI traveled for the annual run feast at Woodford Wells. Bowling first a couple of early breakthroughs by Andy Berry and Karim Govani kept Wells in check before Max Creese tucked in, with support from the other batsman he set Wells up to 315/8. Berry and Ollie White both took 2 wickets to keep Wells in check. In reply lots of batsman got starts but none could convert for the big score needed. Janhoi Bean top socred with 47 whilst Pete Thompson & Rob Waghorn both hit 44 in a 44 run defeat. (Scorecard)

The 4th XI took on Hornchurch 3rd XI and came unstuck at the hands of ex-UCC player Luke Williams whose 5 wicket haul bowled the 4s out for 165 despite a good start thanks to Jamie O'Dell (44) and Jake Giddings (31). In reply Upminster were unable to break the Walker/Gilbert partnership early enough for a chance to win but Nathan Bright still shone with 3/39 in the 5 wicket defeat (Scorecard)

Mark Hortop (76) and Alex Bottoms (57) top scored for the 5th XI in their match against Buckhurst Hill 4s played at Great & Little Warley. Michael Larke chipped in with 33* to set a total of 227/5. The Buckhurst Hill batsmen went after the Upminster bowling, Ansar Khan and Alex Halliwell both took 3 wickets but Daniel Scoulding hit 97* to defeat the 5s by 2 wickets. (Scorecard)

The 6th XI bowled Fives and Heronians 4th XI out for 88. Scott Fisher taking 4 wickets for 5 runs. In reply Upminster fell to 48/8 and despite the effort of number 10 Ian Twine were bowled out for 68 to lose by 20 runs (Scorecard)
