Upminster Cricket Club is deeply saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Brent Denman, aged 31. American Brent arrived in East London earlier this year and soon made friends at the club.

Although Brent was unfamiliar with the game of cricket, he soon embraced the wonderful game and played his first ever game of cricket for the Kushoom Bugh Tigers in the Windmill Whack in July. Brent played further games for the club when they were short and his enthusiasm and personality were infectious.

Brent will be sorely missed by all who came to know him at Upminster cricket club and our thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones at this difficult time.
