U13s WIN AGAIN TO PROGRESS TO REGIONAL FINALS

The U13s this morning comfortably beat a spirited and sporting Luton Town and Indians side to progress to the Regional Finals of the National Cup, in front of a large crowd at Upminster Park.

Upminster, playing at this stage of the competition for the first time in their history, bowled and fielded superbly to restrict their opponents to 86 in their 20 overs. In reply Frankie Hazle and Will Chuter got the reply off to an excellent start and after Hazle had retired Ollie Heazle and then Louis Pickering, batted well to see Upminster to victory with seven wickets and plenty of time in hand.

Craig Chuter's side now progress to the Regional Finals of the competition on Tuesday 26th July (more details to follow).
