ALAN ISON IN OZ

Details

Upminster CC's Alan Ison will fly to Western Australia in January to spend three months playing for South Perth Cricket Club.

 

Alan will be staying and training with Upminster's former overseas star Lorne Sprigg, and will be looking to improve his skills for the 2010 English season.

 

Throughout Alan's time in Oz we will be keeping this area of the site updated with news of Alan's progress, so please log on to see how he is doing.

ALAN ISON MAKES DEBUT FOR SOUTH PERTH

Details

Alan Ison has made two appearances for South Perth in his first week at the Club.

Ison is staying with former Upminster Overseas Star Lorne Sprigg, in order to improve his game over the winter.

Last Saturday Ison made his debut and was unfortunately out for 0. However, he produced excellent figures of 9 overs, 2 maidens, 1 for 25 with the ball.

Then on Wednesday Ison starred with the bat, making a rapid 34 from 20 balls at the end of the South innings.

 

RUNS FOR ISON IN SOUTH PERTH

Details

Alan Ison made 37 for South Perth on the first day of their latest two day game in Western Australia.

The South opening pair put on 206 for the first wicket, as Ison and his team mates made a massive 360.

The second day of the game will take place this Saturday.
