Last Sunday the U13s moved a step nearer the Havering League title with a win over previously unbeaten Gorsebrook. Upminster made 114-2 from their 20 overs with runs from Sam Green, Jordan Tigg and James Brooks. In reply despite a fine knock from Irving, Gorsebrook failed to reach their target.
Upminster bowed out of the Peter Coe Cup on Tuesday, as they fell to defeat against Woodford Wells, in a game put back a day due to the wet weather. George Styles was the star of the show smashing 194 runs to help Wells to victory.
